I've had to change my work process to involve a much more detailed and tighter line drawing from the start.
I'm pretty sure it's killing me.
You don't know how much you don't know until you're not allowed to bullshit your way through it. Anatomy in line form is one such thing. I'm inventing muscles. Not as bad as Rob Liefeld though. So there's that.
I am trying to look at the side where I am learning things and will be better when I get to go back to my normal, more familiar process. But it is so hard.

Anyway I never post in this journal thing so I figured I would let anyone who cares to read it know whats going on in this small brain of mine.

Ugh I know that feeling.  I'm actually one of those who start with a super meticulous and detailed sketch and then ink.  My drawing professors have given me hell, grilling me to be more open and expressive with strokes.  /facepalm

sometimes you just never know what your superiors want, lol.  X_X

See, most of my stuff is implied with shapes and scribbles from the beginning. So going tight and clean is taking me so far out of my element. But doing things outside your comfort zone is how you get better right? It wouldn't be so bad but I agreed to a deadline I didn't think was bad at the time. Now it seems crazy.

I might hit you up for some pointers
